A Beautiful Night for a Powerful Cause

A Beautiful Night for a Powerful Cause

Our 6th annual Gourmet on the Gridiron, presented by Site Preparation Limited, was an inspiring evening of community giving.

The sun was shining, the energy was amazing, and the gridiron at TD Place transformed into a lively celebration of football and community. Over 450 business and community leaders came together for an unforgettable evening in support of the OSEG Foundation’s goal: to ensure all children and youth in our community have the opportunity to play, learn, and develop through sports.

The night was emceed by TSN’s Kate Beirness and CFL alumni and current partner at Emond Harnden, Jock Climie. Guests enjoyed a unique on-field experience complete with gourmet food, drinks, games, a live auction, entertainment, and the unique opportunity to throw, kick, and compete against Ottawa REDBLACKS players and coaches.

During dinner, which was sponsored by TD Bank, guests had the opportunity to hear from youth who participated in OSEG Foundation impact programming including, REDBLACKS Mentorship Program, Girls on the Run, and Autism Moves – a new program launch in 2025 to respond to an urgent gap in our community to provide adaptative sport opportunities to children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and guests, we are proud to share that over $285,000 was raised to invest in programs that make sports more accessible to children and youth throughout Ottawa.

Your support helps level the playing field, ensuring that kids who might not otherwise have the chance can access the many benefits of team sports: confidence, community, leadership, friendships, and lifelong skills.

A special thanks to our sponsors, donors, and everyone who joined us at TD Place.

If you missed us this year – don’t worry, we’ll be back on the gridiron in 2026 and are saving you a table! Read the full event recap by Caroline Phillips here.
